Edie or Not
Edie Sedgwick is the incomparable fashion legend. I can’t think of any other style icons who had the authentic and versatile style that she did. She’s MOD plus everything else. Her way of dressing is fashionably effortless. Every girl loves MOD style. The extra mini dresses, the strong bold defined eyedo, the black opaque tights, the knee high boots or the chunky platform, etc. Well, just don’t do it extravagantly! Pick only 1 to 2 elements of MOD style, if you do it too much you’ll look outdated or costumy. Halloween was just over, girls!!
Here’s my way to revamp MOD style…
Santi dress here is perfect for a modern MOD style. And yes, no need to back comb your hair, leave it natural ala Kate Moss so you can apply that MOD eyedo and look super chic. If you have short hair like moi, you can accessorize your hair with a black wide bandana/headband. You definitely need high heels (3″ to 4″) to look complete with this Santi dress. I think platform heels and black opaque tights rock with the Santi dress. Regular pointy pumps (with skinny heels ) would work too but without black tights, and if you go for more formal look.
FYI, Santi dress is the way to look fashionably SEXAAAEEE…!!!! The crossback straps I just loooove!! Straight sexy! The front pockets are adorably sexy! All in one dress!! ![]()
I love the coat that Darryl Hannah wears in Blade Runner (her wardrobe was so awesome in this movie). It inspired the making of Lestari coat. I love this Lestari coat because its length is just right for mini dresses, it’s shows legs (in those fabulous black tights)!! Edie wore this style of coat too in her chilly days, oversized style super soft faux fur coat (it has a drop shoulder style). It keeps you warm and stylish! Wheeew…!!!! ;)
Whether you’re Edie or not, when you’re ready, you can totally rock MOD style with RADENRORO!! ![]()
